About Me
Welcome!

I come to therapy as a second career, my first being teaching middle school English, which allowed me to explore one of my passions: working with teenagers. I earned my Bachelors degree at the University of Iowa, where I majored in English and Secondary Education. After teaching in Los Angeles for 10 years, I decided to transition to a job that would allow me a deeper understanding of others and myself.
I attended Antioch University, where I received my Masters and from there I interned at The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills and worked with adults, adolescents, and couples. Recently, I supervised teenagers at Teen Line, a peer to peer confidential hotline that takes calls, text messages, and emails from other teens
in crisis around the country.
I am currently in private practice seeing clients through Telehealth.
